Precision Milled for Custom Finish

Our unfinished line provides the essential foundation for traditional site-finished hardwood applications. By producing a full 3/4″ solid product with square edges and precision end-matching, we ensure a stable, uniform surface ready for custom sanding, staining, and sealing in the final environment.

This line is manufactured to accommodate specific architectural requirements, offering a range of species including Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, Hickory, and Wormy Ash. Because the finishing occurs on-site, these floors allow for a perfectly flush, monolithic appearance and the flexibility to match existing historic flooring or achieve specific sheen levels. Every bundle is packaged in random lengths, ranging from 9″ to 78″, with lengths varying based on the selected grade to maintain the natural character and structural integrity of the timber.

About our Unfinished Flooring

Milling & Composition

  • Construction: Full 3/4″ Solid Hardwood.

  • Profile: Precision Tongue & Groove with End-Matching.

  • Edge Detail: Square Edges for a seamless, flush-mount finish.

  • Lengths: Random length bundles from 9″ to 78″ (Average lengths are grade-dependent).

Grading Standards

  • Select & Better Grade: Features natural color variations between heartwood and sapwood. Admits sound sapwood and minor natural characteristics such as small tight knots or burls.

  • #1 Common Grade: Contains prominent color variations and varying character marks. Sound open characters like checks and knotholes are admitted but are intended to be filled during the finishing process.

  • #2 Common Grade: Focuses on natural forest variations and manufacturing characteristics, suitable for utility use or installations where a high-contrast appearance is desired.

  • Mill Run Grade: A natural mixture of all available grades, utilizing all usable parts of the wood to provide a diverse, character-rich aesthetic.
