Our lumber is harvested from the Appalachian forests of Southwestern Virginia. The region's cool mountain climate forces trees to grow slowly, packing more fibers into every inch of wood. This natural process creates a tight grain structure, resulting in lumber that is denser, heavier, and naturally more dimensionally stable than faster-grown timber from warmer regions.

Through our vertical integration within The Turman Group, we oversee the material's entire journey: from the forest harvest, to the sawmills, to the drying kilns, and finally to the flooring plant.
