Our Galax facility is designed for uncompromising quality at an industrial scale. We operate two high-productivity unfinished flooring lines—equipped with advanced EagleEye Crosscut Saws to maximize yield and eliminate defects—alongside a dedicated, state-of-the-art prefinished line.
Before any milling begins, our Appalachian timber is cured to exact specifications inside our complex of over a dozen high-capacity drying kilns. True to The Turman Group’s zero-waste commitment, these kilns are heated by our own on-site boilers. These boilers are fueled entirely by sustainable biofuel, created by repurposing the sawdust and wood scraps generated across our entire manufacturing network. This closed-loop system ensures exceptional product consistency while powering our operations with deep environmental respect.
